Are you curious about traditional estate sales in Kirkland & Redmond, and you are wondering how they work? We can answer any of the questions or concerns when you work with us at Ginny’s Girls Estates!
Sometimes referred to as a vintage sale or a tag sale, estate sales are a way of liquidating the belongings of an estate or family. However, this is much more than a regular yard sale or garage sale.
An estate sale is often used whenever someone is looking for a smooth, efficient way to sell items when they’re going through a divorce or bankruptcy, downsizing, moving, or someone has passed. For the majority of these sales, the public can come into the home or sales location to take a look at the items that are set out for purchase at a pre-determined price.
You will often find that there are many ways that estate sales are planned out. If an item is marked with a selling price, you can usually grab it and carry it around the sale with you until you are ready to pay. If the item is too large for you to carry, you may be able to have a SOLD sign put on it so that nobody else takes it. There are also instances when the items for the estate sale may be put up for auction, all depending on what the family decides.
If you are interested in setting up some estate sale on your property or for another cause or reason, we have a team of three generations here at Ginny’s Girls Estates. We can help make sure that everything is put in place for a smooth and seamless sale. We understand estate sale etiquette, and we will be there to help you through each step of the process from the cleanout and organization to the final details of each sale.
